In Guadeloupe, the carnival is a real event in which everyone participates! The festivities begin on Sunday, after the Epiphany.
A parade takes place every weekend, with the culmination on February 11 and 12.. The Grand Finale is of course on Mardi Gras, February 12th, with the parade in Basse-Terre.
It features most of the previous parades and a procession of outgoing revelers in Pointe-à-Pitre.
